How to Manually Edit and Refine Translations

If you want to fine-tune specific text or translate your store content piece-by-piece, you can use our built-in manual editor.

Steps to Translate Manually:

  1. Select Your Language: Navigate to the "Languages" page. Find the language you wish to work on and click the "Edit translations" button.

  2. Choose a Resource: You will see a list of your store’s content categories (e.g., Products, Collections, Pages, or Navigation). Click "Edit translations" next to the specific resource you want to translate.

  3. Enter Your Content:

    • The left column shows your original (default) language.

    • The right column is where you enter your translation.

  4. Save: Once you have entered your translated text, the app will automatically sync the changes to your Shopify store.

Pro-Tip: Manual translation is perfect for ensuring your brand voice is exactly right on high-traffic pages like your Homepage or "About Us" section. For large volumes of products, we recommend using a Bulk Translation Task.
