Translingo integrates directly with Shopify’s native translation system. If you need to export your translations for offline editing or import a CSV file from a professional translator, you can use the built-in Shopify tools.

How to find the Import/Export settings:

  1. Navigate to Languages: In the Translingo app, go to the "Languages" page.

  2. Go to Shopify Settings: Click the "Manage languages" button in the top-right corner. This will take you directly to your Shopify store's language settings.

  3. Import/Export: In the top-right corner of the Shopify settings page, you will see buttons for "Import" and "Export."

When to use this:

  • Offline Editing: Export your content to a CSV file to make manual bulk changes in Excel or Google Sheets.

  • Professional Services: Send an exported file to a translation agency and import their work back into your store.

  • Backups: Create a local copy of your current translations.

Pro-Tip: Because Translingo stores all data directly in Shopify, any translations you import through this method will immediately show up and be editable within Translingo.
