Note: Auto-translation is available on the Translingo Complete plan. Character usage for auto-updates follows the same rules as bulk tasks based on your chosen provider.
Managing a growing store can be time-consuming. With Auto-update, Translingo handles your translations in the background so you never have to worry about untranslated products or pages.
How to enable Auto-update:
Open Language Preferences: Navigate to the "Languages" page and click the Gear Icon (Settings) next to the language you want to automate.
Select Your Provider: Choose which translation engine (e.g., DeepL, Google, or our built-in engine) should handle the automatic requests.
Set Automation Rules:
Untranslated content: When enabled, any new content you add to Shopify (like a new product or blog post) will be translated automatically overnight.
Outdated translations: When enabled, if you edit the original text of an existing item, Translingo will automatically detect the change and update the translation to match.
Save: Click "Save preferences" to activate the automation.
Why use Auto-update?
Always Up-to-Date: Ensures your international customers always see the latest product information.
Set and Forget: Reduces manual work, allowing you to focus on marketing and sales while we handle the linguistics.
